Screenplay

I thought I needed to throw in a little update about what I'm doing (it isn't much at the moment). I am in the process of having preliminary reads of my screenplay to iron out some kinks in plot and grammar. Once I get back three more reads, I will be having a live reading of the story. At that point I will be on the lookout for an agent. Then, hopefully.... work will come.
When I get all my feedback from the first round of reads, I will let you know what the feelings about the story are.

Stay tuned!

Screenplay

More news on my screenplay. It is still in the editing process. But it has now left my hands. It is finished, copywritten, and now being edited before my first round of corrections are to be made. The most exciting aspect is that people are now entering the world (this story) that I was once the only one with knowledge of. That sounds a little bizarre, but when you have written something for a long time and are the only one who knows about it, its a trip to have others be able to finally talk to you about it.

As always, I'll keep you up to date....

Feature!

I forgot to tell you all!  Something exciting is happening....
I am almost finished with my screenplay.  This would mean that I've finished one, and have two others in the works (minus the novel on hold).  Lots of stuff.

This story is one I've been working on for about a year and a half (since college), and have been told by my teachers to not stop working on.  It is actually what got my name out there as a decent writer.  Anyways... I'll toot my horn later (because it has yet to get my name out there far enough to find me a J.O.B.).

When it is done, I'll document what I did to copyright it, and the steps I take to get it out into the world.   (these are not pictures of my work...btw)

I'm also planning to have it read by a group of actors to an audience (all people I know -either in the industry/movie lovers/or movies haters).  The intention is to get a solid review by many people so I can go back and make necessary changes.
